伊香保温泉
A hot spring town built on a steep hillside, with 365 stone steps at its heart. Because the inns stand on the slope, upper rooms look straight out over a wide valley to layered mountain ridges.
Local tip: Book an upper-floor room facing the valley. Walk the stone steps after 6 pm when the lanterns come on.
